New Orleans Throw Parade for Saints

The Super Bowl-winning New Orleans Saints got a giant carnival-style parade in their hometown Tuesday. The parade, complete with floats and marching bands, began at 5 p.m., police said.
The football team beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 at Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday. It was the Saints’ first Super Bowl appearance, sending their hometown into a frenzy.
Three people were shot Monday amid celebrations in the Crescent City’s French Quarter, police said. None of the victims — a 25-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman — had life-threatening injuries.
