The Dog and Cat Syndrome
Lets face it, it wasn’t that long ago when Blacks had to use different restroom facilities, back entrance to food establishments, denied entry to white schools, was hung or jailed for whistling at white women, denied the right to vote, and subjected to illegal syphilis contamination. Here we have a Black President attempting to introduce Health Care Reform to all Americans, something the Republicans didn’t even mention during their 8 years in power. All of a sudden they become experts on Health Care Reform when their meal tickets are on the line. When the Republicans took office, the US economy was in fantastic shape, and under their watch, while their eyes were open and looking at the economy deteriorating, they were telling Americans the economy was in fine shape. The last time I checked, people would call that statement a “ball face lie”. People, open your eyes, if you were the true show nuff white person who had more compassion for their pets than for black people, could you afford to support a Black President in a bold and historic move to introduce Health Care Reform and it become very successful upon implementation. What would that mean? I’ll tell you what that would mean, no more lying on Black people and their ability to resolve issues important to all Americans. Let me put this in another way you will more aptly understand, if there were not gold in them dare hills, there wouldn’t be Reservations for Indians. President Obama will win the confidence of all Americans in the future after they realized the “sky is falling syndrome” was an attempt to scare average thinking Americans back into the dark regions of their mind where racism is still in a smoldering state waiting to erupt into a full blown blaze. The true enemy of regular white folks, who has always been in America, are racist white folks who are still trying to hold on to last vestige of lies to keep them in power.
The world has always been aware of America’s bad side, and we are finally close to shutting down what I consider the white Taliban’s in our midst and their continuous efforts to discredit a race some of them so vehemently hate. The world is in love with our President, because he does exude hope. The cat is leery of the dog because he don’t understand why he’s constantly in pursuit of him, but the old dog knows why, he’s simply trying to hold on to the bone that don’t belong to him anyway, that bone belong to everybody.
We live in a time where the truth is hard to hide, you may disguise it for a moment, but the truth will always be revealed. The world is witnessing racism attempting to dethrone the President’s efforts to right the wrongs for all Americans, and finally expose those who seek to undermine America’s greatest legacy, its people, out of here.
