On Saturday, August 22, 2009, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the . Presented by Walker Entertainment Group, the concert also had an extensive of “Keeping Ourselves Alive” Health and Wellness Fair that featured free health education and screenings with the assistance of wellness partners, the American Heart Association, Center for Health and Wellness, Houston Department of Health and Human Services, UT Medical School of Stroke, Legacy Community Health Services, Live Consortium, Carefree Health Source, Temple Keeper Fitness, The Health Museum and many more. Special guest artists included Chris Walker, Scott Gertner, Mary Griffin, Phil Perry, Ernest Walker Band, Herman Charles III, Todd Honeycutt, Charlie Vaughn, Anzeo David, Werner Richmond, Kyle Turner, The Gross Man, Shawn McLemore, De’Andre Nico, and Erin Stevenson. The night was host by Praise 92.1’s Brother Larry Jones.
