The popular HoustonPBS online drawing, Summer E-scapes is back for its fifth year in a row. Every person who makes a donation online to HoustonPBS during the month of July is automatically entered into a drawing to win some terrific prizes.

This year’s grand prize winner will receive a Rick Steves seven-day tour of Rome plus two first class round-trip tickets courtesy of Continental Airlines. This prize is valued at $12,000. Second place is a seven-day Carnival Cruise for two and the third place winner will take home a brand new HP TouchSmart computer, courtesy of Office Depot.

“The number of calls we’ve already received about Summer E-scapes has been amazing. People are calling and e-mailing us asking where we’re sending the lucky winner this year. They’re excited about it and so are we,” says Michal Heiplik, Director of Membership.
