The Xi Kappa Lambda Educational Foundation will hold its 21st Annual Scholarship Gala to raise funds to support scholarships for graduating Fort Bend County high school seniors. Hosted by Xi Kappa Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, located in Missouri City, the scholarship gala is themed on the Harlem Renaissance, a growth era of the 20’s through 40’s in music, art, and poetic expression experienced in the African-American community. Attendance at the event has traditionally been between 350 to 400 participants, inclusive of professional, civic, and educational leaders of the community
