Chevrolet Tahoe is One Size Fits All
When I saw the Chevy Tahoe for some odd reason I felt like I instantly had a husband named Earl and we were retired and about to go on a vacation to visit the 50 states. On the other hand my mom, who is retired, thought the Tahoe was perfect for a young couple growing their family. And finally my homeboy Marcus had no words at all for it since he was too busy salivating at the mouth at the mere beauty of the vehicle.
Blame my feeling on the gold color, my mom’s on her sense of family, and Marcus’ on the fact that he loves big trucks, what it all boils down to is that the 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe is a one size fits all type of SUV.
Suiting everyone’s fancy can proved to be difficult, but the Tahoe makes it easy. For example let’s say the driver is hot, the passenger is cold, and the people in the back just want some air. This is not a problem for the Tahoe as it has dual climate controls and controls on the back of the center console for the hot heads that may ride in the back of the vehicle. Problem averted. Another problem that may present itself is that the back passengers may become bored on a long trip. That problem is solved with the state of the art entertainment system in the vehicle. For their viewing eyes there is a drop down screen for viewing DVDs. What better time can be had than watching your favorite movie with surround sound, in a recliner, and with a remote control? This can be experienced in the Tahoe. What if your family of 6 decides to go out for dinner right when cousin Pete and his wife show up? Not a problem. All can ride in the Tahoe since it has seating for up to 9 people. An added bonus is that all will be comfortable in the 4 captain’s chairs and standard third row with plush cushions and smooth leather interior. Another problem solved.
The Tahoe is equipped to handle all situations. There are heated seats when it is cold outside and cool seats when it is hot outside. And if that is not enough you can warm the car up before you get in it with the remote vehicle starter system. A back up camera can be found on the back door to assist with backing up. What about safety? Glad you ask. There is no need to worry about this aspect since the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Tahoe five stars, the highest rating possible, for this very area. Plus the Tahoe is equipped with OnStar for one-year service after purchase. OnStar is literally your safety net. There are certain services with OnStar that even if you have a wreck and the air bags don’t deploy OnStar can send help. If that is not peace of mind I don’t know what is. I love OnStar because they give you turn by turn directions, tell where local restaurants, gas stations, etc. in the area where you are, provide hands free calling and so much more. With all these perks there has to be a down side right? Well there is a slight one. That is if you want to call it a down side is its fuel efficiency. Although the fuel economy did improve some but remember that the fuel economy wasn’t all that great to begin with. I think no one would really mind that it gets 14mpg city and 20mpg highway with all the other amenities one gets.
No matter who is behind the wheel, the Tahoe is the perfect size fit for all. All you have to do is pick out what color you like the best. After putting a down payment on the Tahoe that starts at a little over $48,000, you are set. Do that at your local Chevrolet dealer or design your Tahoe online at www.chevrolet.com/tahoe.
