Spring Branch ISD's Tiger Trail School for Early Learning recently hosted a dynamic Touch a Truck event, extending an invitation to students and families to engage with professionals ranging from first responders to service industry personnel. Both parents and children expressed excitement as they climbed aboard, explored, and uncovered their favorite large trucks and vehicles. The interactive experience sparked discussions about potential future careers. Families departed with ample topics for conversation, reflecting on the vital roles these professionals fulfill within our communities.

photoIn Katy ISD news: Katy High School's Gracie Rocha and Tompkins High School's Chioma Okonkwo received an extraordinary honor last week: $200,000 scholarships from the US Navy! Representatives surprised and honored them on campus, alongside their families and influential teachers. Beyond the financial support, this award opens doors to promising futures. Through the NROTC Scholarship Program, Gracie and Chioma will develop crucial leadership skills alongside their degrees, paving the way for fulfilling careers. In a noteworthy achievement for Houston Independent School District, Megan Warwick, Gavin Waddy, Kene Amankwe, and Colin Gregory of Pershing Middle School have garnered well-deserved recognition for their exceptional performance at All-Region Choir! These gifted students have emerged as standout vocalists, securing positions among the top 40 singers in their section within Region 23 Vocal music.
